   Nirvana: MTV Unplugged in New York Nirvana. out of 5 stars DVD. $ Dookie Green Day. out of 5 stars 1, happen enough to ruin the album but it is just enough to mean that this shouldn't be your first port of call for a Nirvana album, although it is a nice addition to a collection. demonstrated best with `On a Plain /5(K).

   Nirvana Unplugged in New York is Nirvana's Finest. I can't rave enough about Nirvana's Unplugged in New York Album - in my opinion the finest Nirvana album assembled and one of the finest live shows ever recorded. Unplugged albums are, of course, acoustic (ie without the plugs) - and surprisingly it suits Nirvana's hard, alternative sound superbly.
